Travel Registration
Welcome to our new website and online registration!
Congratulations on earning a spot on a 2026-27 NMICE travel team! This registration confirms your player's place on the roster.
Please complete registration by July 6, 2026.
When
The season runs from the week of August 31, 2026 through mid-March 2027.
B-level teams may finish slightly earlier but play at least through the President's Day tournament in February.
To secure your player's roster spot and make sure game jerseys arrive before opening weekend, please complete this registration by July 10, 2026.
Where
Practices and home games are held at Outpost Ice Arena in Albuquerque.
Travel teams compete primarily at away tournaments across the western region, with the chance to play One Hockey Albuquerque if a division is offered.
Practices
Teams practice multiple times per week at Outpost Ice Arena.
- A and AA teams average about 4 hours of on-ice practice per week;
- B-level teams average about 3 hours per week.
Practices for all teams begin the week of August 31, 2026.
Games
Most game play comes through tournaments, which typically fall on weekends.
The 10U–14U and 18U teams play in up to six tournaments per season (five away, plus One Hockey Albuquerque if a division is offered).
NMICE will field a 16U AA team in the NWAHL, a high-level league of more than 20 organizations across nine western states, playing an approximately 20-game schedule with the possibility of playoffs, plus two additional tournaments.
Jerseys
All team apparel is included in your registration fee.
Every player receives a game jersey and socks, a practice jersey and socks, and a workout shirt.
- 10U and 12U players also receive a warm-up jacket and pant.
- 14U through 18U players receive two team polos and a team quarter-zip.
Apparel sizing was collected at tryouts. If your player still needs to be sized, please contact your team manager.
Extra Costs
Registration fees cover coaching, ice time, and all team apparel. Beyond the fee, families should plan for travel and lodging for away tournaments.
NMICE follows a Stay-to-Play policy, so hotels for designated stay-to-play events must be booked through your team manager by the posted deadline.
Families are also asked to support NMICE fundraising, which helps keep fees as low as possible.
