NMICE offers hockey development programs for all levels of play for both boys and girls (coed) of all ages. Players are required to pay registration fees to participate in NMICE programs. Hockey can quickly become expensive and while we cannot control all of the costs, NMICE works diligently to budget well and keep expenses as low as possible.
The registration fees and player expenses vary by program and level of play with House Biscuit League being the lowest and Travel Hockey being the highest.
Registration fees generally include all the expenses associated with operating the team (player apparel when indicated, practice and game ice time, officials, tournament registrations) and do NOT include player equipment or any expenses related to travel (transportation, hotels, meals).
Registration and fee collection is managed through SportsEngine at the beginning of each season. The House Biscuit League fees are due in full at the time of registration. REC and Travel program fees have an optional payment plan. If a scheduled payment fails to process for any reason (NSF, expired card, closed account) a notice is sent to the account email with instructions on updating the payment method and completing the payment. Overdue or unpaid accounts may result in late fees and/or the restriction of the player from participation.
NMICE pays operating expenses related to each player and team as fees are collected therefore refunds could create financial hardship for the organization. Participants are offered a third-party registration insurance and encouraged to consider this option when registering.
Every family pays a $100 fundraising fee and receives 5 raffle tickets for the NMICE Raffle Fundraiser.
Please complete your information on the ticket stub and return the stub when indicated OR the tickets may be sold for $20 each to earn the fee back. If the tickets are sold please be sure to have the buyer complete the ticket stub, collect the stubs and turn them in when indicated.
Team Managers will hand out the tickets near the beginning of the season. Families having more than one player will only receive one set of tickets that will be delivered by the oldest player's team Manager.
Additional tickets will be sold at events held at the Outpost Ice Arenas, including NAHL/NA3 Ice Wolves home games, hockey tournaments and other special events. All players/families are encouraged to sell as many tickets as possible - contact the team Manager to sell more!
The drawing is held during the last NAHL Ice Wolves home game stand.
Team Managers will sign each team up to sell squishy wolves at all home NAHL Ice Wolves games. Each team will provide an adult and two players who will arrive one hour prior to puck drop to begin selling squishy wolves and sell until 10 minutes left in the third period.
Each team will create a themed basket with a value of $300 to be raffled at a NAHL Ice Wolves home game in late November or early December. Team Managers will provide the theme and ideas for contents and families will be responsible to donate items to fill the basket.
Items exceeding the value of the team's basket may be used as a separate raffle item.

Managers, Coaches and NMICE will use the message and chat features of the app to communicate important information regarding the season and schedules so please check it often!
